没什么 – Not Many/Much

1. 没什么indicates that there is only a few/little of something: not really any, not many/much.

wǒmenliǎ méishénme hǎoshuōde.

我们俩 没什么 好说的。

There is nothing to talk between you and me.

zhège chéngshì méishénme hǎowánde dìfang.

这个 城市 没什么 好玩的 地方。

There are not many places of fun in this city.

dǎyǔmáoqiú méishénme nándù.

打羽毛球 没什么 难度。

Playing badminton is not much of difficulty.

2. The same meaning can also be conveyed by connecting 没 with 多少 or 几, followed by a measure word. The structure is: 没 + 多少/几 + Measure Word

méijǐtiān wǒ jiùyào fàngjiàle.

没几天 我 就要 放假了。

It will not be long before holiday comes.

tā zài zhège chéngshì lǐ méijǐgè péngyǒu.

他 在 这个城市里 没几个 朋友。

He doesn’t have many friends in this city.

zhège fángjiānlǐ méiduōshǎo jiājù, wǒmen hěnkuài jiù bānwánle.

这个 房间里 没多少 家具,我们 很快 就 搬完了。

There's not much furniture in this room. We moved out very soon.
